Support an engine or bike on a trolley jack
Set valve timing (degree wheel)
Remove/replace a wrist pin
Compress rings
Compress valve springs
Remove splined boss on gearbox input shaft
Tighten Allen bolt on twin plug head
Align clutch plates
Assist in float level adjustment - a simple template
Ease the pain of replacing a clutch cable
